I strongly agree, GZ. Another sound reason for not flying these days is because we simply have no way of knowing if the service personnel who were assigned to work on any given aircraft were affirmative action "aviation mechanics" or real aviation mechanics. There's a big difference in both. The latter has to go to school, study, pass rigorous tests, meet rigorous standards, receive certification, and ultimately become qualified to work on specific airplane engines and parts. The former simply shows up, affirms that he is Black, and is immediately declared as an "aviation mechanic". No qualifications or certifications are required in his case, because he wields the almighty race card.

Imagine if the undesirables in the story below were indicative of the "aviation mechanics" who happened to work on the aircraft that you and your loved one happened to board one unlucky day.
