I don't argue with that. But education helps one become wiser still. What eduction is simply put, is learning what others have found out. Civilization started when we learned to write and pass on knowledge. Education is what the Yupic teaches his kid how to survive in the north.

Today we need to learn new stuff. We need to learn from wise people like your grandmother. We all need to search out the wise people like your grandmother. That is all edcuation is.

Learning smart and correct stuff.

Those are sweeping statements. Wisdom is not necessarily the product of education. Depends on the quality of the education and on the person receiving the education.

My grandmother could neither read nor right but she had wisdom, on the other hand I know many college graduates, many from Ivy League Schools, who possess no wisdom at all.
