" like public schools because they ensure randomness of teachers and ideas, which will ensure NO DOGMA, which is the largest threat to wisdom."

I think it is just the opposite. There is far more diversity of ideas and teachers in private schools. It is in the nature of big organizations to enforce uniformity.

that's hilarious. Public schools are a breeding ground for liberal dogma. There's no randomness at all. The current public school system selects for liberals and the teachers can't help but pass their views on to the kids.

Private schools have a wide variety of teachers with differing backgrounds. And that includes Catholic Schools. I know of at least two teachers at my son's school who are not christian. And two who are very clearly living alternative lifestyles.

The great thing about my son's school is that they can fire bad teachers. At the public school he went to, once a teacher had a job, their performance had nothing to do with their job security.
