No, he is not inflammatory. He merely speaks the truth and it resonates with people.

there is no way that newt can capture the 2-5% center which is where elections are won and lost. he is too inflammatory.

I know you and many others here believe that. Many of us don't. That discussion will make up the horse race to the convention.

If conservatives had gotten behind Bachmann early as I suggested, we wouldn't be in this mess. Not only was she a dedicated conservative, but showed class dropping out early to allow the remaining candidates to coalesce around one candidate.

the moderates, the true centrists, make and break elections. that is who we are fighting for, a tiny sliver of the voters. newt cannot capture them, his rhetoric and his lack of morals and ethics will turn them off.

Moderates are moderates because most have no convictions.... They might take a step back because of what you've mentioned above, but in the end they'll only have one choice.... 4 more years of BO plenty's incoherent economic/foreign policies, unemployment and debt.....or give the other party a chance to screw things up....after all, the only consistency this administration has had is maintaining the status quo of constant overspending. Even for a moderate it's not a hard choice......
