November/December calls? Man, you are charging the hill Harvardd!!! Ouch! <imho> My optimism is far more guarded than yours. I may wait for a bounce. But I'll never bet it's going to happen. However, it's your call and I respect that.

Hardvardd: An option strategy for you to ponder.

Try writing (re: selling) the option contract first. <imho> It's a savier way to profit in the options game. Been doing it for years with success. This way, when the contract expires worthless, as most do, you realize as a profit whatever you sold the contract for originally.

All it takes is "x" number of shares of a stock like SGI that you don't mind a) having called from you or b) having put to you.

Since your long SGI and like the stock you may want to consider this approach. Strictly <imho>.

Going off-line now to Atlantis where I shall repair for one week.
