Prometheus was shocked that my educational path beats him and DVD hands down. Why that? Because they were lead to believe, without doubting, in the system wherein they rose. Then next day they confront people who weren't in their radar screen and suddenly they are contesting them. While I was reading until I got the American Character as transparent as the body of a gecko, 35 years ago, they probably thought Brazil capital was Buenos Aires. While the major issues important for Black Swan were: I'd have to say.. Cold War (Europe/Russia etc) was pretty inconsequential to my thinking.. Quebec terrorists (FLQ) and independence movement (tanks in the streets of Montreal), US civil rights, Woodstock, Vietnam (I guess cold war related) were the biggies.. That's what I grew up with... While he was pondering those major issues, I was, not yesterday, 35 years ago, wrecking my brain to try to diswcern what USA was all about.
