21% of all Verizon smartphones were 4G LTE (UP from 13% last Q)...1.6 million 4G LTE smartphones... that's 2.3 to one LTE smartphones to 4G LTE data devices... massive growth quarter over quarter... record setting... and the Galaxy Nexus only hit mid December... can't wait for the numbers in Q1... my local Verizon stores sell out of the day they get them in...

Verizon had to offer a special deal - twice the data for the same price - in order to move that many LTE devices. They offered no such special deal on the iPhone, yet managed to move two and a half times as many. And Verizon doesn't have any $0 iPhones.

In any case, the iPhone outsold all Android phones combined on Verizon.
