What rings on the Ereader? Also I'm at a Wifi restaurant and that video is giving my ipad1 a lot of trouble. It may be the Wifi or the Ipad1. Cleaning up video lag alone is enough reason for me to upgrade to the 3 when it comes out. Im wondering where I fit in the future market. I'll always want the high quality of an IPad, but would also like a smaller, cheaper reader/browser device that works outdoors. I don't want my TV to double as a browser.

Back home now and that video played perfect on the IPad1.

there might be alot more than just the video, it might be the encoder/decoder being used. IF teh kyobe reader has a sub stanard decoder, then it may take a long time to prepare a video block for viewing, whereas teh Ipad2 has a state of the art H.264 decoder built in.

There is alot going on behind the scenes in most video..
