And your team wants to get rid of the EPA! The loony left sees it as our savior. I think the mental picture one should have, is spaceship earth. We should keep the earth neat and clean just as we would a spaceship, as there is no place else to go. So when we pollute with abandon, it is exactly like shitting in our front room; and actually worse, it is like pouring mercury on our food. Literally. We would not do that to our kids on purpose, but as the earth is big and the ecosystem complicated, it requires a bit more abstract thinking and sensitivity too many cannot seem to come up with. The scientists know the importance of the EPA, so they reject the Republican's who they know do not. Too complicated for the right wing I guess.
