Tall people should cut off their feet so they are the same height as short people

Rastus had a mule and every time he tried to get the mule into the barn the mule's ears would hit the top of the barn door and the mule would kick and bay like nobody's business.

Rastus got a saw and was cutting two notches in the top of the door in order for the mule's ears to pass through untouched.

Kilroy came by and saw what Rastus was doing. "You dumby!" he said, "Why don't you just dig out a little bit of dirt at the bottom of the door so his ears won't hit the door jam?"

"Shows how much you know, you idget," Rastus said. "It's his EARS that are too long, not his legs!"
