If you predicted Apple would sell 36 million iPhones based on this mockery of logic, then good for you. But this is definitely a case of two wrongs making a right. Flaw #1: smartphone growth rate in the second half of 2012 was nowhere near 70% YoY. Flaw #2: you took the AVERAGE of the growth rates for each quarter to come up with the second half iPhone growth for the quarter. Bad math.
