Gene - Re: Rambus & Mohr-Davidow

Yes, Mohr,Davidow was one of the early VC companies that backed RAMBUS along with Kleiner, Perkins, Caulfield, Byers; Merrill, Pickard, Anderson & Eyre; Integral Capital; & Goldman SAchs.

I think Intel may also been involved in the initial round of financing - due to the Davidow/Intel/Moore connection. RAMBUS later repurchased Intel's shares as Intel passed up on implementing the RAMBUS interface on the 486.

Intel refocused on RAMBUS, as we all know, for the MERCED project.

Bill Davidow is the chaiman of RAMBUS to this day.
