Well that's a horse of different color than saying he's not thinking for himself. He is, most probably, a believer in job creation and individual initiative and hard work (these last two Mormon values), and probably against most welfare for able bodied individuals. He does change position, but he himself would frame it terms of evloving. The main thing is I would think Democrats would want him to be the nominee over the rest of Republican Candidates as he brings organizational and rational skills to the table and has shown he can work with Democrats (Mass.). The alternatives would be far worse, IMHO of course.
