I've heard they consider all of North America (Canada, USA, Mexico), and possibly South America as the non-Europe share.

Well, perhaps iPhones did even better abroad than they did in the US.

I'm quite certain that when we see real numbers out of Europe for CQ4, the much-ballyhooed decline in iOS market share that has been mentioned here recently will turn out to have been reversed.
