The war over the last 30 years has been between supplyside economics and Keynsian economics. I am a Keynsian. It is an economic theory most of the top economists embrace.

Just look at how quickly WWII's full employment stimulus pulled both the individual and goverment out of debt. If the stimulus had been for this counties infrastructure it would have been even better.

We can do that again. Tax the rich, provide a huge infrastructure stimulus package and rebuild the middle class. That should do it.

The top 400 richest people having more wealth than the bottom 150 million should say it all. How did we let that happen?

<<OK. I can agree that the GOP is the majority reason why we have a large debt. However, that doesn't mean that we can continue down this path. Right now, the Dems are wanting to continue to buy things we don't have the money for. Why do you think that's ok? The answer can't always be "it's ok to be irresponsible because the GOP does it too".
