Cacaito, Very informative. This helps explain why sildenafil is an 'erection enhancer' since release of nitric oxide is mostly neuronally-mediated (thinking sexy thoughts), although endogenous and endothelial nitric oxide also exists. This also opens the door for possible synergy between sildenafil and alprostadil (Muse), forskolin or VIP which are direct stimulators of cAMP production (and against synergy between Muse and forskolin).
