John:
Am glad you have such a wonderful sense of humor( and also
a very keen memory)
Yes, life did kind of jam up on me when I sold that Dell. I have no fear at all over Dell investments, just a general disgust that
the market seems to know exactly how much negative BS I can stand.
How did they know that my downside limit for the last many months
was $70/sh.???? When it hit $71 I called the broker and sold, within
minutes the market reversed and when it hit 79 I bought it back.
Immediate loss, @1920, new tax liability next Mar @2820.
Rats, rats rats.
But my general plan, in effect since last December, is to accumulate as much Dell as I can comfortably handle. I also have a bit
of CPQ which tends to run parallel with Dell, so a good report
on Monday should help both.
Good luck:
Sig
