Your kiddo is in tune with The Force - it wakened him. OK, so today is nice, but you now that even when gold was in the mid 1800s, knocking at 1900, I had difficulty convincing people? All my well written and well reasoned analyses were met mostly with scorn or cynicism. I gave up my proselytizing. When the scorn and cynicism disappears, I will know that the time to bail is approaching. Wait until the Straits of Hormuz heat up, as they will. I don't think they will be closed, but I don't see this as a politico-military crisis but as an economic one. There are too many countries that recently began using non-USD currencies in their oil trading.......US is telling everyone "Who's your Daddy? Do you think you can keep them open on your own if need be? If you think you can, go ahead and use your currencies, but if you can't, we'll be glad to, provided you go back to the USD." It's no coincidence that Turbo Timmy was in China and Japan recently.
