It would be impossible to track, but the programs passed by the admins would be a better measure. The Bush admin did far more to raise spending and cut revenue than Obama, and as we all know it's easier to pass stuff than to kill it. Try taking away the drug benefit or ending two wars, the first is impossible and the second takes way a lot of time.

Key issue for me is we've got to raise taxes, from the lowest rate they've been in 50 years. No way around it. Slam dunk or we're dead meat.

Who has the courage to raise taxes? Reagan did it. Clinton did it. GW did it. Romney, Obama? I doubt it, but the better shot is Obama. And he is cutting spending especially military and health care.

It's like what you want is staring you in the face but you're too pissed to accept it.
