You really haven't answered the question about the check definitively.

There was one post where you said "Yeah" but you also had that incredibly mealy-mouthed and sneaky line in there about lost mail. And you referred to a post where you once said that you would send a check after the results came in. But neither of those is the same as saying with certainty that you have sent the check. In fact, your approach seems to be designed to obfuscate.

Maybe you aren't aware of how an honorable would handle this situation. I'll clue you in.

First, the man would say "I lost the bet. You beat me fair and square."

Then, he would say, "I have sent the check out today. You should be receiving it within the next week. If you don't receive it, please let me know so I can stop payment and send a new check." That's what honorable people do when paying their debts.

Every single person who reads this thread has seen you take a very different approach. You could have chosen to do the honorable thing, but you didn't.

Still, you could always choose to do the right thing now. It's not too late.

Jeez, if Cogito lost the bet to you he would have immediately congratulated you and the sent the check out post-haste. Of course, he's a gentleman.
