But what are they doing now. The santa at the mall does a good job also but that's not stimulating the economy.

those are just make work jobs, not real ones that last and grow. If you want to do that cut corp taxes and cut all the regulations. Steve jobs had a proto type I phone, 6 weeks before launch he notice his keys scratch the surface. He told his engineers find a new glass or he wouldn't release the phone. the engineers did and the chinese made it and retro fitted all the other phones, all in 6 weeks. Here it would have been 6 months for an environmental impact study on making that glass
