You know, my wife is a Buddhist and never in her life had any second thoughts of changing that. I am born a protestant Christian, and in no way have I ever indulged in the thoughts of actively changing that. My kids remained unbaptized by our choice until age 15, when they both chose to get baptized and confirmed within a year. None of us is actively pursuing religious practices, but my guess is that we tacitly share the same level of respect for matters we may not quite understand to the level, where we, as some, either jump on it full time, or like our aggressively 'non religious' atheist friends here, do our very best to convince others - and ourselves - that all evidence on hand proves no God ever existed.

Poor souls, why not invest all of that energy into more productive efforts???

Atheists suffer physical and emotional distress from the existence of a cross at Ground Zero in NYC

What if they put a mosque at ground zero - will atheists heads explode?
