I remember those - I always wanted one.

I hope we never need all this but it is good to be prepared. Our non-ethanol station is 20 miles away. When I put it in my car, I get much better mileage.

RE: If power goes out gas pumps won't work that makes it a very fragile resource.

You could bring a hand pump to the gas station, show the owner the size of your container and make an offer for the gas. Then just pump it directly out of the reservoir that the tankers fill.
