Fiachra Mac Cana, head of research at West LB Securities told Reuters
Financial Television: ''The pool of money is very very limited, unless
they go to the option of issuing deficit finance bonds.

''But MOF will stand firmly in the way against it...The political
ramifications of any large-scale, system-wide application of government
money will be very serious indeed,'' he said.
