Why? illegal aliens have been self-deporting since the beginning of Great Recession. No work, no reason to stay. I met some legal aliens from India that decided they wanted to gl back there since the Indian economy was going gangbusters and they felt there was more opportunity.

That exact topic was discussed in greater detail in the debate tonight. I'd love to know how many people actually do self deport every yr? A friend has an illegal Hispanic handyman who goes home twice a yr to visit his family. I guess you could call that self deportation, but I don't think so because he keeps coming back. If Romney can get illegals to self deport, stand in line to get their citizenship so they can come back legally............more power to him............but I really do highly doubt that is going to happen. I guess he could do it by making the economy even worse than it already is if he should become president. LOL
