TJ, IMHO the market participants look more confused as ever, on one side the FED signals easing, the economic US date seems positive, every one predicting the collapse of the EUR and the EUR is strengthening as is the CAD and AUD which signals recovery at a time the consensus is that the world second largest economy, China is slowing down.

The propaganda machine at Davos is going full steam toward a recovery and other claim more difficult times ahead, the US treasury are almost unaffected and the Yen is refusing to deflate.

IMHO selling volatility on financial instruments can be profitable via way out of the money options with some direction.
