Ira, from what I have learned holding a position is very dangerous. Daytrading is a discipline. If you are going to hold hoping for the gap up (or down if you're short), you are gambling. Unless, you've done your DD and now believe this is a good position. Take your profits and move on. Don't hold on to losers, just move on. FInally, make sure you are trading using a reliable system.
