How did anything you posted lead you to to this conclusion? Nothing you posted addressed the main point I made about Samsung's smartphone ASP imploding. In fact, if you look at your post more critically, they more than tripled smartphone shipments but didn't even double revenue and profit. That alone should tell you that they aren't making as much money on each smartphone. Lower smartphone prices have been the main driver of increased smartphone sales.

There's nothing wrong with a business model in which you have to claw for share, but you want to compare with Apple? They doubled iPhone shipments while increasing ASP. At some point, they might fight for share, but I see no reason for them to do so yet.
