Exxon can afford to pay a fair wage

A fair wage is the market clearing wage for your skills and abilities.

As for Exxon -

"The average salary for exxon mobil jobs is $65,000"

We are 7 billion people living on spaceship earth. Everyone cannot have 250 million in wealth.

Not with today's economy, but with economic growth and technological progress it will probably happen at some point, barring a civilization crippling disaster. It will probably take a long time though, much longer (probably never) if envy or hatred of the very rich causes socialistic policies to pass.
