<<<protect our lives, property and rights>>>>

My life is protected when government enforces regulation in the food industry or by regulating planes - and who can get on them. How you see a difference is beyond me. The government protects my property (my stocks for instance) by making sure we have a level playing field and banks and such have laws they need to follow - disclosure laws. Without this the list of Madoffs becomes endless and the capitalistic markets don't exist as investments but as gambling dens. My rights are protected by a government that is suppose to prevent fraud from becoming a way of life.

You might like to return to the days of lawlessness (read a book about San Francisco before the earthquake of 1906 for instance), but not me. So we will just have to have a different opinion.

"i generally agree. bush listened to the keynesians. he shouldn't have. but obama has continued the disastrous policies. you can't have government even a 'little bit' involved. it has to get all the way out.
"

Then I assume that you are prepared to dismantle our banking system, take from the banks the power to create money and eliminate the fed.
