So koan, if I have an extra beer tonight someone else in the world must go without? When Facebook goes public will wealth be created or simply stolen from those you purport to care about? Zero sum man - for every winner there must be a loser. FWIW - this is classic loony left thinking as it justifies the taking because the loony left does not believe wealth can be created so that there is more to share. Koan, I will drink my beer confident that rather than taking from someone my spending generated economic activity and opportunity for those you and the rest of the loony left purport to care about. You are the math guy, so how can you come up with a different equation. it should tell you something when lots of smart guys like Bob disagree with you. if wealth is zero sum, how did we get the first hummer? how did we get the first car or tv? new code word.. liberals are the 'zero summers'.
