>> But if he gets the nomination I can enthusiastically support him.

I heard him give a great speech today, and it is clear the man just has excellent ideas and understands more about history, and can relate the experience to recent events better than anyone I've ever heard talk.

I am very concerned, though, about the Obama administration's ability to recharacterize events. The willingness of Rs to run from Bush's record makes it really difficult to fight the "I inherited it all" disclaimer.

I have no doubt Newt would be a fine president. Or Romney, either. But neither of them will get a fair fight against Obama. The media is going to be sure of that.

TWY, > Gingrich has his faults. But if he gets the nomination I can enthusiastically support him. He's a conservative and a fighter.

This is your "conservative fighter"?

Seems like you're supporting Newt just because you don't like Romney and neither Santorum nor Ron Paul have a chance of winning.

Personally I think Newt is the LEAST electable of the four and is only doing well because he can talk a good fight.
