Al, here's one way to boost sales of the Chevy Volt. Have GE purchase 12,000 of them, then get their employees to drive them: gas2.org GE claims that they'll be saving money in the process, but that's debatable given the high up-front cost of the vehicle and the cost of installing charging stations at the homes of employees. More likely is that this is to try and jump-start their "green technology" businesses. And curry favor with government, who loves to hear about "green jobs." Now I'll wait while you call me "cynical" ... Tenchusatsu
