Absolutely yes, I fully agree on all your well stated points... And, you are complete right about how he first mentioned the Sons of Italy in the first place, he set it up as an example of an all white group... the FACT that he stalled and hesitated for so long, and then only saying it was the policy to admit anyone who can prove they were Italian only further illustrates that he himself STILL did not say he would vote in favor of a black Italian... at last, he said he would, but at this point I frankly do not believe him... his behavior is far more eloquent than the sounds he makes out of his mouth and the words he types.. there is nothing he could say now that could undo his astounding collection of infantile, irrational, highly illogical, paranoid, and racist comments... I've known him here at SI for many years and I do appreciate his conservative perspectives against liberals, but this entire episode of racist and childish ranting is completely out of character for him... GZ
