James,

Thanks a million for posting Spiker, Bill's article. It really is informative and revealing!

I have always taken delivery because when the stuff hit the fan in 1987 many brokerage houses did not remain solvent and to get your share took some REAL effort. I am quite capible of handling my own certs and I rest better at night knowing who has control of them <G>.

It is a pain in some ways when selling because if you are net trading and want to make an immediate sell you can't. But, I look at it like this; I am willig to pay a higher commission to sell if I have to. I can call my full service broker and say sell he will and then I mail the cert to him post haste and they have always done this for me and I would imagine for anyone the broker knows and trusts to tender the certs. That is why I will always keep my full service account.

Thanks again for posting that article I hope everyone reads it!

Go check out BLACK SHEEP STOCKS it is a new thread just do a search on it and it will come up.
