sheila,

being a long time investor (November 94) I sat on the sidelines and watched as people came in and out of the thread trading shares and moving on. My god I thought, don't these people now that Iomega is building an empire?

Then I woke up, researched what some of the "professionals" were saying (I must say our current TA experts and Option traders are the most skilled yet) and then I started doing some of my own range trading when we were in the mid teens, the low 20's and the upper 20s.

I decided to love the company but not the stock - so far so good.

What's my point? just supporting the one thread idea that works for traders and investors - like me. Good luck.

take care, have a good weekend

Sheila and all,
First for SR:
If it makes you feel better, i am also a long term investor - started little in July 96 and then more and more ..... My average price is in
high teens and i never sold even a single share. I am more interested in discussions about IOM than talking about my trades and that's why i don't talk about them much. Yes. i play some options once in a while but that is no way close to my long term portfolio. Anyway, i think we should get back to talking more about IOM.

Now for All (the real post ;-):
OK. People, now that Comdex is over what is the next for IOM? ANy talk about Buz? Still I can not beleive that more analysts are not covering IOM. How about Merril, Barney and Goldman?? Is IOM not up to the level of these Brokerage houses??

Hi Sheila,

No, I think there is one more long term investor on this thread. I bought in IOM on Feb. 24 at $16; I am still holding them. As today market closed, my gain is about 90% so I can't complain either. It is good to know I am not alone in the long term.

Have a nice weekend!!!

Gilbert

sheila, Re:>>>Tom, it seems like you and I are the only long term investors on the thread. <<<

No Sheila , we are all still here watching all the noise . I don't mind the ta on this thread as I also use it for my entry and exit points . I just don't have to post it several times a day .

Still Long and Holding ,

Herb

Sheila,

You are not alone. Trust me.
I think most of the readers of this thread are long term investors,
including myself. (Jan 96) It's just that along the way to long term
success many people here have learned how to increase their earnings
by trading. This is not a bad thing, since if you held this stock
during the great decline, you sure would not make any $$$ just
holding long term. I have been reading this thread from just about the beginning and have gained an immense amount of knowledge from many posters on all kinds of topics.

All,
The title of this thread is "Any Info about Iomega" and it has always
been just that, a very convenient place to view anything affecting
Iomega, the company or stock. So everyone, please, ONE THREAD,
and lets move on.

Regards,

Dave

Sheila, count me as another long, have been for at least a year, and have followed this thread everyday during this time. I hope that we stay on one thread, like input from both day traders and longs. As an investor, I want the whole story, not just bits and pieces. I don't contribute much, but thank everyone for their input. I don't have a zip drive yet, still using a 486 upgraded, DX2 to DX4. I will be buying a new PC next spring, and it WILL have a zip installed. I'm sure their are plenty of people just like me who would love to have a zip, but are just waiting for their next upgrade. Really think Clik! will be great and we haven't seen anything yet!
