With Newt, we know of two affairs he had. There has not been a series of bimbo eruptions. There is a difference.

Newt is no saint. But... for better or worse, each of his marriages lasted 12+ years. There must have been some considerable good times there. Clinton is a pervert. Do we need to go into the Broderick, Willey, Jones , Lewinski, Flowers, etc. episodes of a lifelong list of womanizing? Anyone who would deny this would have to be a dumbfuck.

I have concerns about electability. But I'd rather take a shot at electing Gingrich than elect Romney and find him paralyzed in party politics.

I can not trust Romney. It is hard to find any issue important to me that he hasn't changed his stance on.
How can conservatives nominate a candidate who was the architect of Obamacare? It's plain NUTS. It's Bob Dole....John McCain all over again. Look at where his support comes from. Can you name one real conservative supporting him? If we nominate him and lose........the Republican party is finished.
Might be finished even if he wins given his nature. Only chance is he will almost have to sign any good legislation coming out of Congress. What I fear is that Romney will embolden the Senate RINOs such that no really good legislation can result. Can you imagine that? Republican control of House/Senate/Presidency
with no real reform. I can. Too cynical?? I sincerely hope so.
