In my opinion, you're both underestimating Sarah Palin. When Obama was shoving Obamacare down our throat, Sarah was the only one to organize a citizen process to read the whole horrid thing.

unfortunately, i think the motivation is a bit more cynical than just trying to hold out for the obvious winner....she's trying to push gingrich over the finish line in FL....and doing so in a most unseemly manner ("cannibal" name calling)

Like Jonah Goldberg quipped: Six months it would have been ridiculous to call New Gingrich an outsider. But now that the entire establishment has thrown him out, what else can you call him?

Sarah Palin said "Rage against the machine, vote for Newt" on Fox today. That's pretty plain-spoken.
