I did the same thing - lol . Look - I think Santorum is a fine man. I agree with him on the issues that isolate him. I simply do not think those are the issues that our nation can address in 2012. It is the economy stupid.

In Iowa Rick got the recommendation of the religious right. Great - they are where I am. However, I am telling you - to win nationally that recommendation is not going to help.

I know Clinton and Carter came out of nowhere - but they were at least governors.

It is the economy stupid - that is the message we need to take to the nation. Nothing else will beat Obama. And, if you care about the moral future of our nation - there is nothing more important than defeating Obama and his band.

In a similar vein - when I watch Newt debate I drool over the prospect of Newt ripping Obama a new one in a debate. I am sure Newt would attract a solid 35% of the electorate.

If I had my choice the nominee would be Daniels - but I cannot have my choice.

Beating Obama is not going to be easy. He lies so well and the media simply nod their heads. We need to end the circular firing squad and focus on the election and defeating Obama.

Bob

OT: Simplicity....I want you on my side when we go to battle.....Even though I handle a rifle pretty well, at least as far as Bullseyes are concerned, you'd slay them immediately....<ggg>

As a matter of fact, it is a form of deception when used to sway conservatives away from supporting him.

The reasons for negative labels need to be explained. I wouldn't go around claiming that Davy Crockett was a weak fighter because he was 'slaughtered at the Alamo'. :)
