romney was a budding 'independent' and has no real claim to the reagan revolution at the time

does that mean that gingrich was a total reagan conservative at the time? (answer: no)

does it mean that romney hasn't morphed into a reaganesque candidate over time? (answer: yes)

ronald reagan evolved into his conservative views after governing a very liberal state....

had he HELD to his more liberal views as governor of CA, it is doubtful he would have been elected president...

romney has done the same...except the RW calls it 'flip flopping'
