I think what you are witnessing is happening all over the country. I was talking to the owner of the nearby Sportman's Shop just before Christmas and he mentioned that he sold more guns, by far, this past November and December than he has in any year since the shop opened in the late 70s. Our local rod and gun club is also much more 'populated' these days, generally for target practice, than it has been in the twenty years since we joined. If you sign up for firearms training, I wish you better luck than I had in 'shooting from the hip'. :)
