When the democrats get finished with Romney he'll hate him too.

How do you figure that. The only things that they have on Romney is that he earned millions of dollars working for Bain Capital and thay he is a Mormon. That's it.

Newt has a long list of personal failing, plus an infinitely long list of distasteful videos like the one where he is calling Spanish the language of the ghetto, etc...

Romney didn't and doesn't make those mistakes. Newt continues to do so.

I don't think so. He views Romney as someone who built his fortune on his own (and didn't marry into it or inherit it), and has generally lived a very admirable life. I can't imagine that the Democrats will be any more vicious in their attacks against Romney than Gingrich has.

And don't get me wrong...I have a lot of respect for Gingrich's intelligence and I think he's one of the few politicians who occasionally says something that seems insightful - his comments on midnight basketball some years ago, his suggesting that we consider bringing back orphanages, and his more recent suggestion of using kids to do some menial work in the schools.
