The nomination process has become so divisive and nasty, many republican voters may very well sit out the election.

I don't believe that either....... If this were a normal election I might think that..... This, however, is no normal election being that the immediate fate of our country is at hand....... If voters really understand the trouble we're in and how we got here there's no way they're going to sit this one out.

relax. there is plenty of time between now and the election for obama to remind Everyone why they will go to the polls and vote against obama.

please recall how lots of pundits thought hillary supporters would be hacked off at obama and stay home. it did not work out that way.

if romney had been the nominee instead of mccain in 2008, i do believe he would have won against obama on just his biz and economy experience against the economic collapse in 2H08. that is a counter factual, but that is my opinion.
