The main thing I heard, "Who would vote for an actor?" As I began to read about Reagan and his beliefs-------his life as a radio announcer, (not an actor)-----his work as Governor of California-------that line was only important in that he had opposed the communist movement in the actor's organization in Hollywood. By the time the state conventions were over ------the grassroots movement was in full swing for Reagan. And, as mentioned before --------Newt Gingrich was a part of that movement-------he has a right to be proud of that work and his own impact in electing Reagan. Without Gingrich and numerous activists Reagan may not have won--------they were the volunteers, unpaid, who supported him.

Never one to avoid controversy, West over the weekend had strong words for President Obama and other top Democrats who have their eye on the Sunshine State come November, telling them to "get the hell out of the United States of America," reports Mediaite. Apparently unfazed by any potential challenge to his seat, West told the Democrats to "bring it on!"
