Epicure, that post was off the reservation. Remember how Hitler came to power. No one pointed out his insanity and danger. I was glad to see that post as it showed us all just how dangerous these right wing ideas are. I have never seen anything like that on any mainstream right wing thread on SI in 12 years. I think shedding light on that monster, will humiliate him and generate unanimous condemnation from even the right wing. No one, even on the right, can sign on to that insanity. Best, we stop that kind of shit right in its tracks. Best way to do that, is challenge it and force the author to back down. I doubt anyone on the right will support that, and may cause many to quesiton what they are doing. I don't think he was doing that to get his jollies. I think that was someone channeling Himmler. <<That is so not the kind of place I want to be, or even read about. You can find loathsome people and viewpoints on SI, but it's probably best not to post them here. The folks whose posts you highlight will no doubt get a hard on seeing themselves mentioned, and you don't want to be involved in their sexual gratification, do you? :-) We all tend to define ourselves by whose with us and whose against us, so seeing a post here just gives a guy like that some jollies. I'm not for giving a man like that any jollies. No doubt he can get them somewhere, if he has enough money to spend, but let's not participate...
