Electronic gadgets are "inexpensive luxury",
and also serve as entertainment for some.

So far I'm not impressed with the computing
'power' of my new Android phone/PDA, but
I'm still on a learning curve with smartphones.
Not sure if they'll ramp like PCs, or hit a wall.
IMHO, they're roughly at the IBM PC/XT 'power'
stage, at best. Limited main memory and
mass storage(16/32GB) and efficient
programming is ignored, I suspect. We'll
have to see if hardware can compensate for
these deficiencies, or whether physical
limits rule, ala Moore's Law.

The smartphone is a somewhat useful tool, but
not sure if it can replace standard PC/laptops.
Is it a phone with PDA capability or a PDA with
a phone add-on?
