Thanks for posting the information. I think this guy has gone serioulsy overboard. He may be right to the extent Legacy is very closely linked to CP hotels management. Unit holders may have a hard time turfing the management. If you did not have confidence on how the management was running the hotels you should probably not invest. Given the quality of the properties and management I am willing to take my chances. With 33 % ownership if this does not work it will also by bad for CP.

I hate replying to myself. It kinda looks like there's no action on the thread.

Anyways, I posted a message about my stated concerns on the Newsgroup <misc.invest.canada> to see if I can generate some comments on this REIT.

I'm tempted to call Burgundy Mgmt. but I think they'll ask who in the hell are you. Anyone familiar with that company? Then again, I will ask them 'Why post such critical commentary on the public newswires unless you're trying to get reaction."

Let's just sit tight and see how this REIT does. Anyone know the date of the first quarterly distribution?
