Closed mind-lol? I hate it when people say that to me. Especially about religion. As though I never gave it any thought-lol. I have spent my life investigating that subject and am amazed when I see great minds who still believe in it. Carl Sagan, Sartre and Bertrand Russell felt the same way. So I guess they have closed minds as well

. IMO, in religion there is no there, there, not so much as one piece of evidence ever found for any religion, so what would I investigate? Also I found no logic or reason. The bible itself was just slapped together by some kng and could have just as easily had a bunch of different books. And if one takes the time they can see myths like the great flood can be found in many of the old religions in the middle east.

I spent my youth investigating religion and found nothing and finally settled my mind on it when I realized a god would never act like we say he did. Would a god have an ego, be jealous or want people to pray to them-lol? I doubt it. But if you substitute tribal chief for god, the bible and religion makes perfect sense.

<< Well, if you have a closed mind far be it for me to try to open it.
