Thanks for your always welcome views, Justa.

It's hard for me to look forward and be bullish with the prospect of a 30% tax hike coming down the pike within two years cnsnews.com
in the current environment of projected anemic economic growth, continued policies of government overspending, crony capitalism, selective application of laws, our institutions of lower learning graduating more and more ignorant brains, and flocks of black swans flying around overseas.

Hi All:

At the end of last month, I turned neutral on the SPX saying it had an equal chance of going up or down from that point. Market chose up.

With that said, there are enough warning signs that we will have at least a correction and there are a number of technical signs of an intermediate top that are flashing as well.

I will not add to any equity positions in this overbought situation. In fact, I am reducing them. My rule is to never add to equity positions (dollar cost average or otherwise) when we are extended in this manner.

If an opportunity presents itself to go long the vix , I will take it and trade it.

Best,

Justa
