You know why old guys like me don't have a bubble butt anymore? 'Cause we done scratched it off already. (I stole that from Jeff Foxworthy. My wife keeps reminding me how right he was.) I have a book on carving gun stocks, and it is a very beautiful art. I've done a little bas-relief carving, but I don't think I'm up to carving on a gun stock. This is a gun cabinet, however. (I apologize for the huge photos. Evidently sizing them in the SI submit window does not work. Here's a stump that used to be a tree. Hundreds of little tiny seedlings sprouted all around it after I cut it down. It tore me up to pull them out, because I spent my life trying to get them to grow out in the woods.
